James Porter and his family are well known across Scotland for their soft fruits. James runs his farm with his father where they keep cattle and sheep, grow potatoes, barley, wheat, beans and of course soft fruit. James and his family are no strangers to this lifestyle; they have been farming for at least five generations and growing strawberries since the 1960’s. James is Horticulture chair of NFU Scotland and also hosts school visits through the Royal Highland Education Trust.
